Accept Help

July 15th, 2007

Let’s face it: while we may have been dynamos before this condition, we simply cannot do all the things we used to do.  So don’t even try!

It’s not fair to ourselves to push like that, and getting some backup for the basics frees us up to heal and stay in the stream of life.  It also frees up energy to help others with areas in which we’re strong.

What has worked for you?  Email us - we’d all love to hear it!

If you can afford to hire a maid, do it. If not and you qualify for a care provider through insurance or Medicare, do it. Mine is a savior. A clean house makes you feel better. If you need help ask for it. I help folks pro bono with all benefits including DHS things.

If you’re eligible for a handicap parking tag, get it and use it. There’s no nobility in expending precious energy on a parking lot. :) With the energy I save, I can do other things, like help with this website.
